Stabat presentazione
Stabat è nato per testimoniare che le azioni hanno riflessi
oltre quanto noi piccoli uomini riusciamo ad immaginare,
e che i segni che lasciamo del nostro passaggio
si riverberano nel tempo e in mille luoghi.
A noi fare in modo che abbiano davvero signifcato nella giustizia.
Dedicato ad una pacifista uccisa in medio oriente
è uno stabat, il momento in cui l’anima assurge al cielo.
usando questa metafora appartenente al corpus cristiano
due angeli scendono sulla terra, viaggiando su mari e montagne e deserti,
per arrivare ad un luogo simbolico dell’umanità . Al Khazneh di Petra, Giordania
dove raccoglieranno la rosa
(la bellezza e la purezza delle intenzioni)
e qui dovranno anch’essi immolarsi per compiere la loro opera,
diventando statue, mentre anche la loro anima immortale
dovrà vagare in una città spazzata dai venti e dalla sabbia
fino ad incontrare nella desolazione
il sacrificio compiuto.

Imaginary spaces,
like the interior of the temple of remembrance,
where evidence of remote civilizations and religions are gathered,
are freely reconstructed by the author.
Like that of a contemporary city,
whipped by sand storms,
from whose millennial stratifications emerge
architecture from different epochs,
Angioina, Baroque and nineteenth century buildings.
Appearing beside images
gathered from historical files are
excerpts of reality filmed by the author.
The narrative journey of the film (starts)
with the voyage of angelic figures
through endless territories of space and time.
It is, in other words,
the voyage of the conscience in search of a sense of life,
on the trail of illuminated existences.
The film is dedicated to the memory of
a pacifist killed during an action in the Middle East
for her, the figure of light alludes to the fact that,
in the end, it frees itself from the body,
uniting itself with the angels.
And it is dedicated also
to all people who fight
for his or her own ideals
of peace and truth.
